WORLD TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

The profession of a teacher is the most important profession in the world because teachers fulfill the transfer of knowledge to “young minds”, without which the world we live in would degrade and fade.

World Teachers' Day offers a great chance for everyone to acknowledge the importance of teachers in the world and say thanks to all of them. Every day teachers all over the world are making a difference educating and inspiring our future generations.

World Teachers' Day is celebrated in more than 100 countries world-wide and was established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in 1994 to celebrate the role of teachers in society.

World Teachers' Day is held internationally on 5 October.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

Our educational establishment is the oldest one in the town of Orsha. The staff of our gymnasium strives to advance and pass knowledge primarily due to scientific research, high level of professional competence and qualified teaching. And our success in this realm is evident – we can be really pride of a long list of various linguistic Olympiads winners, international language competitions awardees, essay contests prize-winners, research papers competitions winners, students who take part in international exchange programs, etc. But, what is more important, is that our school leavers become successful subjects of international communication, can easily adapt to the demands of the modern community and can satisfy its requirements, become active society members who possess deeply-rooted inner values of fairness, tolerance and equality of rights.
